At Calvert Controls, our Service Division is at the heart of our business because it’s connected to everything we do. We offer 24/7 service that covers mechanical, controls AND commercial plumbing.

Our team is committed to responding rapidly to every call. We’ll be there within two hours of any emergency.

When you make a promise like that, you need a dedicated talented team to coordinate and execute. For Calvert Controls, that starts with our amazing Customer Service Representative Manager Megan Jones.

If you’re one of our Service contract clients, you’ll get to know Megan and her team well. (If you’re not a Service contract client, we hope you’ll consider it. Because it can be a lifesaver.)

Megan supervises and trains our team, as well as working directly with clients to make sure that their needs are met and the service they receive is unparalleled.

What got you interested in a career in this field?

I have a passion for helping others and have found so much joy in connecting with the customers I serve.

What are your primary responsibilities as Customer Service Representative Manager?

My primary responsibilities are to supervise and train our customer service team and dispatchers, develop policies and procedures, focus on customer satisfaction and retention, respond to customer inquiries, develop goals, report progress, and continue to learn and grow into this role.

What are the biggest challenges you face?

As a new manager, my biggest challenge has been rethinking how I work. Going from a do-er to now a show-er on how to provide an amazing customer service experience and be an intuitive dispatcher to ensure our technicians have what they need to do their job. I have had to reset my thinking and embrace a learning mindset.

What makes the Service Division so important to Calvert Controls?

Our customer service team is a direct connection between our customers and our company. Our technicians are our front line, by providing top-notch service to our customers. When you combine the two it inspires customer loyalty and ensures our customer retention. The service we provide trickles down to the rest of the company to ensure company growth.

What do you enjoy doing most outside of work?

I love being with my family. I have 4 kids and an amazing husband. We all share a love of the outdoors and exploring in our yard. I also love to garden and care for my plants.

What’s something that your co-workers would be surprised to learn about you?

I am a nerd. When we are not outside, we are gamers. PC & Xbox. We game as a family and everyone enjoys this hobby together.

What do you love most about working at Calvert Controls?

What I love most about working for Calvert Controls is we are a company that truly believes in investing in their employees, by offering training and encouraging growth. Calvert Controls wants their employees to be the best versions of themselves, and I’ve been offered me many opportunities.
